Today was the first day that the temperature really dropped, here in Bobcaygeon. Once again, we’re coming up to that transition period between fall and winter. Putting together outfits around this time can sometimes be a little tricky. Especially if you still want to look stylish, but stay warm at the same time (without wearing a full on winter coat). That’s one of the reasons I love this look.
This jacket is so insanely warm and cozy, it blew me away! It’s soooo soft, it almost feels like you’re walking around in a cozy bathrobe lol. It’s by BB Dakota, and one of my fav items at the moment. When I had it on today, I received SO many compliments on it. Again, if you haven’t already noticed, I LOVE neutral pieces. I wore a burgundy top under it, to go with my boots. However, you could pretty much rock any colour you wanted with it.
The boots I’m wearing are by Michael Kors. They’re actually the exact same as the taupe ones I wore in this post here. The only difference is these ones have a small block heel on them. If you want more info on them, check out this blog post. It will give you more deets.
The purse I’m carrying is actually by Celine Dion. Celine Dion just recently launched her handbag line, and all of them are STUNNING. I love the gold detail on it, I feel like it really makes this look pop. Find more Celine Dion bags here.

Hey there! Long time no talk. I apologize for my absence over the past few months, I’ve been going through yet another transition of moving. I’m officially back in Bobcaygeon, Ontario, working at Bigley’s Beach House. Of course theres yet another life story to fill you in on, however, that is a blog post in itself. But I will be publishing it in the near future, so stay tuned! In the meantime, I wanted to jump right into all of the amazing summer fashion!
I came across this dress the other day at Bigley’s, and I couldn’t help but treat myself. This dress is by Cupcakes and Cashmere. The print is absolutely stunning, and the details are incredible. The tassels really set the tone, and the embroidery at the bottom truly makes it a one-of-a-kind. The fabric is so light-weight and perfect for summer. It’s made of 60% viscose and 40% rayon. I’m wearing a size small, however, it does fit a little big, so if you’re interested in purchasing it I would consider going down a size.
The Vince Camuto gladiators that I’m wearing are also from Bigley’s. Their available in two colours, black and mochaccino. My sister-in-law let me borrow her black pair while we were in Florida and I immediately fell in love. Their extremely comfortable and fashion forward. I love how the self-tie lace-up creates a commanding look with shorts, skirts, and even relaxed dresses. Their definitely a great staple gladiator for summer. Oh and they fit true to size!
The Cupcake & Cashmere dress is currently only available in store at Bigley’s, but will be available at bigleyshoes.com within the next two days. Find the Vince Camuto gladiators here.
Summer has officially started and I’m on the hunt for some “go-to” items for the season. As I’m sure many of you have you have noticed, Bigley Shoes & Clothing is my favourite place to shop. Therefore, I’ve posted a few of the items that I’m currently craving, which are available online and in store.
1. Anne Klein Stripe It Up Tote- $110.00
2. Liam by Sam Edelman- $250.00
3. Fossil Cecile Multi-function Stainless Steel Watch- $198.00
4. Alex and Ani Gypsy 66 Wrap- $64.00
5. Michael Kors Meg Bow Detail Sandal- $128.00
6. Fossil Preston Cross-body- $198.00
7. Alex and Ani Dolphin Charm Bracelet- $32.00
Trying to achieve a “business casual” look, while still attempting to look trendy and stylish can often be difficult. However, this eyelet blazer by Michael Kors always seems to do the trick! It brightens the outfit up, and is easy to style due to its neutral colour.
I’ve paired it with a flowy turquoise blouse by Michael Kors, white capris by Yoga Jean, and a nude sandal heel by Steve Madden, which was all provided by Bigley Shoes & Clothing. In order to make the outfit really pop I added an aqua cross-body to the look which was only $34.99, from Bigley’s.
Turquoise is trending for the summer season, however if turquoise isn’t for you, you can still style this look with a colour that you prefer.
When accessorizing this look, I added a couple of turquoise bracelets (with tassels of course, because as I’m sure you’ve noticed, their HUGE right now), and a fun necklace to add some life to the basic blouse.
Meet the Mink Pink ‘End of Days’ jumpsuit! If you’re on the hunt for a stylish, yet multipurpose outfit, I would highly recommend investing in this garment. It’s only $85.00! I’ve accessorized with the Penelope heel by Ateilers, a Michael Kors tote, and a basic pair of black sunglasses, to establish a casual appearance.
The major plus about this jumpsuit is that it can be styled for so many different occasions. Whether it’s simply an average day at work or an evening cocktail party, this jumpsuit is exceptionally flexible. By simply adding a small black patent belt, and rolling the bottoms up to ankle length, you’re able to completely transform the look.
Once again, Bigley Shoes & Clothing provided this ENTIRE outfit!
This Mink Pink dress is a summer essential. It can be worn numerous different ways. I’ve styled it as a summer day dress, however it can also be worn with bright coloured capris, or even as a swimwear cover-up.
This fedora is available in mint and a light purple as well. These Sam Edelman flats are extremely comfortable, and a great statement piece to any look.

Ps. this flamingo print is really trending this season!
This is a very fun, versatile summer look, that can easily be dressed up or down. As I’m sure many of you have noticed, a very prominent trend this season is 70’s patterns and tassels.
These amazing Sam Edelman heels, are low enough to provide comfort and certainly make a statement.
